FeasterLouder.com.au recently posted a review and photos from Slipknot‘s recent Sidewave show in Sydney, Australia. Below you can read an excerpt from the review.
Eight Nine piece heavy metal ensemble, Slipknot, backed up their ferocious Soundwave performance with a sideshow at a very undersold and curtained off Sydney Entertainment Centre. The less than overwhelming attendance did nothing to deter the performances of either band playing that night, or the pulse of the maggots who crawled out of their festering carcasses to rock out with them.

News.com.au recently conducted an interview with Slipknot‘s Joey Jordison. Below you can read an excerpt from the chat.
Joey Jordison: “I will miss him [Paul Gray] forever but you can’t sit and wallow and make excuses for not continuing Slipknot.”
Seems singer Corey Taylor hasn’t always shared that sentiment, with rumors circulating he wanted to quit the band.
Jordison is quick to hose that down that kind of talk, saying the band was working on new material with Taylor.
“I’ve been in and out of the studio for about six months now that’s on the Slipknot record and also on some solo stuff as well. He (Taylor) does want to keep doing it.”

Shawn “Clown” Crahan (#6 of Slipknot) not only came to the 2011 Golden Gods to watch a badass concert, hang out with his rocker friends, and generally celebrate heavy music, but he also came to capture the action. As any fan of his band knows, Clown is an accomplished filmmaker and photographer, and here, he offers a sampling of his shots from hard rock and metal’s biggest night.

TheAge.com.au recently conducted an interview with Clown (#6 of Slipknot). Below you can read an excerpt from the chat.
Clown: “We give you everything. We’re the greatest band in the world as far as I’m concerned.
“I always laugh when bands say, ‘You know, without the masks they’d be nothing.’ OK, try playing one of our songs, try playing my drummer’s parts, try playing my guitar player’s parts. Now put on a mask and all this other shit and run around like you’re in a rugby game – then I might start listening.”
